This is how Bear sleeps under my table

This is how my Bear sleeps like a Chicken
Black like Coal, Paws like Cocoa
He doesn't pounce around
He doesn't Bark like a hound.
But I think I will love him anyway.

Deb-B & Dan-X

Monday, July 17, 2006

This is the last pictures I have of both my Dogs.

Dan-X Male, about 2 years old.

I found him at a supplier's place among his siblings. He had the best coat then and I could only save one.I took him to a vet right after that and the Vet was shocked at the Ticks and Fleas he had. The Vet asked me just how long I had him..."two hours!" I quickly replied....

He was a really smart Dog. My Staff loved and pampered him. When they worked late, he would escort them out to the Bus Stop and then go back to the Farm.He would wait until the Green Man appeared and crossed the Road inbetween the white lines...better than most humans.

My Foreign Workers loved him. He would walk with them late in the night when they check the fishes and keep out the other stray dogs.We once had Cat problems on the roof, with Stray Kittens running on top of the office boards. He doesn't really like cats, but doesn't bark and chase them off either. I have seen him ignore a cat walking past him to drink from his bowl.

But he was intelligent. I manage to trap a Kitten that was very very ferocious and aggressive. For some strange reason, my cousin wanted the cat against my advise and when I was transfering the cat to another cage, the little bugger manage to escape me into the night and grass.Dan-X chased after the cat and stood on the grass patch. I couldn't believe my eyes as he was actually holding the kitten down with his front paw, waiting for me to come. I thought my eyes was playing tricks on me....but as he lifted his paw, the Kitten shot off again, only to be caught the SAME WAY just some distance later.

I only brought him a couple of times to the Beach, and he really doesn't swim. But I remember throwing him into the water....and he started to make for the beach. But when I called out to him...he actually turned around and swam back to me.

Every morning he would greet me in the office and rub himself up beside me...asking for a pat on the head. After that, he would lie down on my office floor and take a nap.He rarely barks. When he does, its usually for a good reason.

He sometimes came back with injuries gotten by fights with other dogs. I would always tell him in a stern voice not to fight...but being in a farm environment, I would like to think he manage to establish himself well in his surrounding community.

I remember him coming back one day rather drunk. Some idiot fed him Beer and he simply couldn't keep still after that. It was pretty funny.

----------------------------

Deb-B is female about 6-8months old.

I met her coming back from buying lunch for my workers and she sat right down in front of me with her tail wagging.

As some businesses believe, its unlucky for you to chase a Dog out that enters your facility without caring for it. Especially a jet Black Dog.

For 3 Days I took care of her...giving her de-worming medication and feeding her properly. After that I planned to give her to SPCA as I didn't think I could take care of 2 dogs.

Frenie hated dogs and Andy (accounts fellow) didn't really like Dan-X. But on the day that I planned to take Deb-B to the SPCA, Frenie came to my room and told me NOT to send her to SPCA. She pleaded with me for over 20mins. Refusing to take no for an answer.

Andy did the same thing.I told them ruthlessly that unless they plan to take care of her, I am bringing her to SPCA.

And I did. But for some odd and strange reason (I've been a few times to SPCA) I got lost for over 45mins. I even ended up in Eunos.

I called back the office time and time again to get my bearings and when I eventually reached SPCA, a friend was manning the reception area. Just coming on Duty. I didn't even know he was in SPCA.

And HE pleaded with me not to leave her there as she would most likely be put down. After about an hour, I relented, thinking how am I going to explain this....when I saw I had over 9 missed calls from my father.

He didn't want me to give her to SPCA as well.

I took her in and she experianced Tick Fever. And she almost died. I took care of her through the Chinese New Year and after over $400, she recovered well.

She was a Dumb Dog. But she did learn her lessons well. She had a Wide Eyed innocent look about her. She was very very affectionate to everyone. She too, didn't bark. Learning from Dan-X

She did get into some problems and a bad injury on her leg. But she recovered from everything quite well. After she came, business improved as well.

She had the most beautiful black coat you will every see on a dog. It was Shiny and she was beautiful. Someone sent her to the SPCA after her bad leg injury and the person that did it, went to all the Farms to ask whose dog was it. Apparently, the SPCA staff said that when they arrived, she was very fierce and wanted to bite people.

I walked to her cage and when she saw me, she couldn't move her rear legs then, but she used her front paws to drag herself to the Door.

The SPCA staff commented that it was definately my Dog....It was her sterilisation day today. On the 18th of July 2006
-----------------------------------------

Dan-X and Deb-B died today...on the 18th of July 2006.

Victims to poison.

Staff said they saw them in the morning playing around...and at about 8.15am, they appeared with no cries....just foaming and shaking violently.

When I arrived at 8.30am, Deb-B laid at the front gate dead. Her body still warm. Her mouth foamed. Her eyes open.

I raced around the area for Dan-X and found another female dog at a neighbours place dead. Mother of 9 new puppies.

I found him eventually a short distance away at a grass patch...also with his eyes open. Some seen him shaking violently just a few mins before.

They died violently.

I will be burying them on my land later. I miss them terribly already.

I will miss you both. You're always in my Heart

Blogs can earn you some serious Moolahs

After reading Kenny's and XX's Blogs, I realise that Blogs can make a serious amount of Moolahs. Especially with sponsorship.

Thank you JasChoc for your comment in my earlier post. Ermmm.... HAHAHA....I only just read it.

Obviously I do not Blog very often, but I do in some instances like reading them.

You see... Blogs are dangerous.

The Red Queen herself have had to move her blog so as not to have her Bosses read what she wrote.

Blogs are a luxury I currently cannot have. I admire Karen Cheng's Aussie blog because it doesn't set out to thrill or talk about opinions. Its is truly a Online Diary which someone told me she is REALLY popular.

I wish I could write about my day like that.

What do I have in my life?

A couple of Dogs, an office to run.

Not exactly gripping stuff that keeps people riveted to their seats.

I need to do something really exciting. Lately, even food only does what it is suppose to.
